MTBC’s October Project Presents: Meaningful Use Webinar, Part II (Somerset, NJ) -- MTBC, a leading healthcare IT company serving providers throughout the country, today hosted the second-part of a complimentary webinar series entitled “Time is Running Out: Learn How to Earn Your Meaningful Use Bonus Before It’s Too Late.” This webinar was delivered by Muhammad Farhan, a member of MTBC’s meaningful use coaching team, and is the conclusion of a series aimed at educating and equipping providers to earn Medicare meaningful use bonuses.

Today’s webinar was part of MTBC’s “October Project ,” an educational campaign focused on EHR meaningful use. “October 3, 2012 is an important date because it is the last day that providers can begin their 90-day reporting period under the Medicare EHR Incentive Program,” said Stephen Snyder, MTBC’s President. In addition to this, he said, “If providers have not acquired an EHR, mastered its functionality, and fully implemented it by or before October 3rd, then they will no longer qualify for the full Medicare incentive.”

Mr. Farhan, said, “This webinar focused on the ‘Menu Measures’ set forth by CMS’ meaningful use requirements.” He further explained, “The webinar series will help guide providers to obtain their bonus this year and in the future.”

With help from MTBC’s meaningful use coaching services, Nonato Pineda, MD, from Comsti, Deperio, Pineda and Associates, LLC, recently completed attestation and said that the coaches were “professional, knowledgeable and patient with the whole process.” She added that they provided, “Useful tips and advice [which] was very much appreciated. [The coaches] [a]lways kept phone appointments and promised tasks . . . [and were] quick to answer any time I called with a question. [MTBC’s MU coaches] made a very complex process easy to understand and fulfill.”
